Regional Membership Call: Reflections from Queer South Revival!

In February, 70 members gathered for Queer South Revival, SONG’s Regional Membership Meeting, in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. We worked to sharpen our political alignment around the prison industrial complex, drilled down on how we view a fight for abolition and broadened how we are thinking about our immigration strategy. SONG is broadening the way we think of membership. We introduced our regional working groups, clarified member leadership and defined how we’re growing in crews, clusters, and chapters - our people need to know their work is valuable. Check out the notes from the meeting HERE!

Join us for our Regional Membership Call! We are using our collective skills and knowledge from Queer South and move towards a vision on how we want to move ahead this year. If you need Spanish to English interpretation on the call, please contact Monse Ramirez at monse@southernersonnewground.org.
